Salut Benji comment vas-tu ?

Don't know if this is the right place to post (if not, the admin can move it to the right location), but last night I did back to back 1/4 mile runs measuring simultaneously with perfexpert and my gtech (pro competition). The times and terminal speeds are very close , here are the results (10.09/127.7 means 10.09sec. with 127.7km/h) .

P.S. on run N3 I let off early and was not able to do a full 1/4mile run
P.P.S. the test car is a modified Golf Mk4 gti (AGU)

Hi Dropout,
That a very useful test! Thank you for this comparison. We don't have a gtech to do such a test and you are the first user that give us this kind of feedback.
Yes times are very close, and as it's a gtech pro I assume that it's a good reference. Do you know how if gtech use only the GPS to perform measurements ?

I will create a specific topic about that. Are ok for sharing this picture on our facebook page ?

Hi, the gtech I have is the older version (gtech pro competition) and it uses a 3 axis accelerometer, the new versions (fanatic series) use a 10Hz gps (if I remember correctly). No problem to share the picture, here is the same picture without the logo on the bottom.

This is the gtech I have

I also have a 10Hz gps (qstarz 818Xt) and have tested it using the program racechrono (windows mobile version) and the times between it and the gtech are also very close .

P.S. When there is an open drag event (think the first one is april ), I'll test the app against the track measuring equipment .
